When I had a Professional Carpet Cleaning business, you could flip the year upside down in most cases. For example, Dec would be very busy, followed by Nov, ---and so on. Of course, our summer and fall was busy as well.
What I did however, was to constantly sell-sell-sell (especially on the commercial side) and strategically schedule them in an effort to "fill in" the gaps. Always seemed to work for a business with 11 trucks going.
