I wouldn't give cash up front for it because the work is not under contract, So I give the owner 15% of monthly invoices.
Which works out pretty good on my end most of the time, The bad news is it came with an employee who has developed some bad habits along the way.
But he provide's a van and most of his own equipment I pay him per hour to work the accounts which is between 7-11 pm 4 to 5 days a week,
Since I'm on my own truck all day long I don't want to clean them myself, So it mostly works out.
Soon as I can get him cleaning the way I want him too we should be able to meet in the middle.
Now the price, This is a restoration job at its finest the price "Should" be around 1.00 per ft to fix this type of problem, Since the job already had a price from the last owner of .50 per ft.
I'm stuck holding the bag on this one, I'm not to happy about it but my hands are tied, I'm hoping I can turn these accounts around and start doing better.
So far he has been making me between 5 and 6 hundred per week profit, Not great but not to bad either, Since I dont have to do the work
I'm not to happy about working next weekend I was planning on taking off, That's out now for sure, and I'll just break even on the job at best,
I'm having to use patience with the new guy and his cleaning habit's, Which has never been a strong point for me to begin with but I'm trying.
He needs the money and overall is a nice guy who is pretty honest, So I'm trying to make this work for the future, I just hope this pays off in the long run.
