I do have to agree with what Jim McD stated in regards to (somewhat) a slightly changing market on "price shoppers". I have also seen this in our machine business here.
I think that you have to stand on your own merits and continue to keep that great reputation close at hand. I have witnessed many, many people out there getting pretty fed up with these individuals who sell only on price because these buyers have gotten stung. Paying just a little bit more they have come to realize, that they can get so much more (!)
Our competition is exactly the same. They put a pretty shell over a bucket full of Chinese components and parts which continually breakdown costing the purchasers more in the short run!
We have been very, very busy and many of these purchasers are those whom have (finally) learned their lesson.
The exact same is true in your business.
