I am sure most of you have heard the phrase: "What goes around; comes around".
For years now, I have heard the exact same comments over and over again in this Industry. It's like a revolving door.
On another board, I read where a Operator uses a Roto-Vac (a good tool) with his (very generic) portable. He wondered "Why" it is taking so long to clean a carpet. Hummm........
All things considered ofcourse, isn't one of the most important considerations and element in cleaning is the particular extractor since it is the heart of the cleaning process? After all, if it is under powered, the speed of cleaning will also slow down. No other way.
More cleaning strokes; more going over and over for recovery; etc.....
Sorry, but sometimes I just don't get it. The trade off in initial purchasing of saving a few bucks just doesn't make sense because we all do have a choice before the purchase.
It irritates me ,at times, when the (assumingly)unsuspecting people are sold by a company, " A package"deal in an effort to just sell them their product as part of another. This kind of sugar-coating IMHO, is similar to stealing the Operators precious hard earned money knowing that these same operators will eventually have to turn around and re-purchase a much better and more powerful Extractor if they want to speed up and better their process....................and make some money in the mean time. Or, go out of business.
Oh well, I am sure I'll be reading another thread with the exact same situation/problem; just a different name.
Too bad.
Best always;
Ed Valentine
