Dekare;
1. The green wire that runs from the rear to the front is most likely the ground wire that came off the regulator piping outlet right behind the outside male QD. You can re-connect this by using a simple tie strap. Allow the "bare wire" to come in contact with the brass piping. Reason for this is added protection for the Operator so as not to get shocked when doing water damage, etc.... Others do not do this.
2. Jim Morrow also offered some great advice. I bet you'll be alright. Normally, when something trips a breaker, it indicates that there is water coming in contact with electrical; or, a loose wire touching a metal item and thus causing grounding, and/or, causing a interuption of a circuit.
