Ed,
I found a green ground wire that comes from the rear of the machine and runs along the left side. It was stripped and appeared to rest on the solution connector at the front. It appears to go no-where, so I cut the stripped end off and put a wire nut on it. Although the test in inconclusive until I use the machine under load tomorrow, I plugged it in and so far so good, it's not blowing the breaker.
I will say that earlier in the day my helper forgot to switch on the Auto Pump Out and didn't get noticed until I saw that it was raining under the van, but all the streets were dry!
One other thing, we were cleaning a older nylon carpet in which we got a lot of loose fibers. My auxiliary suction filter looks like a carpet itself. I don't know if this would have anything to do with it.
