Jim I fully understand how what you are saying . If I had a good truckmount I wouldn't have even attempted to put 200 feet on any portable . However at this time I do not have one. I have many in the past some of them very powerful. As Ed has said these vacuum motors are different. They are so much better than the others I just can not explain it. For those who can not afford a good quality truckmount then the Jaguar 6.6 + 2HT setup will work for them. They can leave it in their vans or trailers with the heater and clean carpet. In most cases they will not need more than 100 to 125 feet anyway but it is nice to know that it will go somewhat further without losing but very little vacuum performance. Jan

The JAGUAR 6.6 --"A TRUE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEM"; not a generic squirt & suck!
