If the carpet is commercial just use some encap juice with peroxide in it...
scrub it in and collect check...Pretty easy problem for this method..
trying to get air flow threw commercial carpet is next to impossible, causing the spots to wick back to the surface,
Im puzzled when you say its a soft drink, The senior housing around here they dont drink to many soft drinks at that age, coffee or urine would sound better, Thas why I said Encap with peroxide,
that will fix both problems...Good luck
