Don't get me started Ed
My first gripe is about APATHY. It is rife in our industry, well, certainly in the UK.
Things like "I need to go on a training course, but the one you suggest is 50 miles away, isn't there anything closer to where I live?"
You think of any topic and there will be apathy stamped all through it's core.
My second gripe is FACTORY FLOOR MENTALITY. By this I mean that Joe Bloggs had a job in a factory earning , say, $500 per week. Now as a self employed carpet cleaner, his prices are pitched to provide him with $600 a week. Anyone charging higher rates than him are rob-dogs who rip off the public. They are incapable of adopting the mentality of a businessman, they carry on with the life approach of a 9 to 5 factory worker. Then moan that they cannot afford the NEW equipment that we rob-dogs have
Then there are the UNRELIABLE ones. I've organised so many events over the years where at the last minute, someone will ring and and say "I can't come 'cos Mrs Jones wants me to clean her closet carpet on that day![]()

. Makes you wonder how they run their business.
And finally, for now, we have the KNOW-IT-ALLS. They've been there (but took the long route) done it all (but they cocked it up) and got the Tee-Shirt (but it was too small, the wrong colour and needed washing)
I'd like to give you a longer answer, but really, I couldn't be bothered
Safe and happy moaning
