Well after 11 years in the business I have my 2nd complaint of odor from rug after cleaning. I cleaned a home with lr and 3 bd rms and a large dog. I have cleaned for this customer for years but at a different home and different dog. She never liked much deodorizing but I told her this house needed it because odor seemed strong before cleaning.. I cleaned the house on a humid day and she said it took about 36 hours before it felt totally dry. I get the call it smells musty when I went back it smells like dog to me so I recleaned and used heavier deodorizer and set up fans and dehumidifier. Next day still smells...... I said lets let it set for 3or 4 days with dehumidifier to make sure it's completely dry and see if odor goes away.. I plan to go back if she's not satisfied and use just a rinsing agent.... Or better left alone and not get wet again....any suggestion from other professionals also never had disappointed customer would you even try again...
