I got a screw in type of filter off the blower, cant remember the name right off hand,
Every soo often I check it and take a brush to clean it out, Im not really a big fan of the filters or whatever gizmo these folks have
The sock filters suck, I said it finally lol, I was trying not to kill anyone's hope of having something good,
But over the years, The "Less" restrictiion you have the better the Vac, Even with truck mounts the same theory applies,
All your gonna do is open a ball valve or on the recoil a gate valve and let the garbage flow out, the water and all the extras will just flow out of the machine...
really dont see a need for a extra filter blocking air flow, I said that for the Recoil gang Gary,
But to answer your question, I do have a screw in filter on my machine, "stainless" incase someone is wondering, Buts thats the only filter Im running,
I had the inline things before, but with the loss of vac its just not worth it, My machine is going on 11 or 12 years now with the same blower and running stong, I had the system re-done over a year ago and kept the same blower..
With a stainelss steel frame you can change everything out without problems, another hint for the Recoil gang if they ever want to change up, lol
