I think it depends on what kind of job one is
doing. For instance on the big commerical jobs
I want a fairly lightweight wand such as the
West Pak 0530. I also want it with a glide.
On smaller jobs such as light commerical and
residential then I don't mind so much using
for instance my West Pak O535 quad jet wand with
a glide . It has a 1.75 inch dia. tube that fits either size hose.
I realize this sound perhaps a little backwards but I have found that on jobs with a lot of sq. ft. I will and so will my young son will do better after several hours at one place with the
lighter weight wand. When you get tired mistakes are more often or likely to happen. Also on large commerical jobs you have more drying time available than on residential where in my opinion my heavier quad jet wand will provide a little faster dry times.
On my lightweight wand I use two 11002 Tee Jets
and on my quad I use 4 9501s. Gives more control over the amount of solution I use.
