I guess my thought on that was, The trade shows I went to their was a pretty good walk to the entrance,
It was at the state fair grounds, So know one would even know untill they reached the entrance, and not many people are gonna turn around and get the mats to start with,
Thats where I was heading with that statement, If it works for you folks then great, Im not trying to knock ideas from anyone, there have been some good ones posted,
Why not clean the mats in front of a church group willing to listen to you while you do the work, Same effect much cheapier cost and most likely less drive time in the process, you can get the same effect with out all the hassle,
I guess I like the easy things in life, Its much easier to have a couple of old ladys singing your prasies in church, Talking to people that already know them, The job is already sold before you even say a word...
You need to get people in one location and calm to be able to sell, Thats why I liked the idea of bringing them into a store front which I supported,
trying to sell someone just passing through the gates is a long shot at best, they want to get inside and see the good stuff, There not gonna go back and hike back to their car and get the mats then come back and drop them off to you,
Most people already know there gonna come out of there with their hands full of stuff already, "Now carry Mats" back to the car,
Im knocking the Idea, I just think it could be better used for YOUR benefit, dont forget before you spend lets say 1000.00 dollars on a booth and donate 2 or 3 days of you time,
Your basically buying a bussiness, at the numbers posted so far, with the few jobs that will come of it, It would be cheapier and easier to stand on a street corner and hand out cards, Everyone has mentioned cutting the price to begin with, why not cut there.....
yes Im being over stated but if you read what im saying its pretty close to the truth, I think all ideas that come across this board do have meaning, Someone does walk away knowing a little more in most cases, (Except Rickie)...No help for him in any case....LOL
Dont take it the wrong way, I just think you should use them differently...All the Best to you and everyone thats gonna do this, I sincerly do wish you the best of luck
