I guess that is good and bad to hear haha. I was gonna say most of the chems from your top manufacturers (detergents at least) are gonna be pretty much pet safe and not harm any. The only way I was gonna say the pup got sick from your stuff is if it just drunk it straight from the container.
Now the only type of pet to be concerned about cleaning around would be birds, they have extremely sensitive respitories, but i have cleaned in many rooms were there was even birds and never made a pet sick in 14 yrs.
Glad to hear it wasn't your fault, but as a former bulldog breeder for a long time, parvo is some serious stuff and can be spread to other animals that come in contact to were it has been for years even.
