Hi guys. I don't have an electric extractor but I have to ask why not just bring them in the darn house?!! What's the obsession with 200 feet of hose? I got caught up in this mentality too from reading all the posts on this forum and TMF but now that I have some carpet cleaning under my belt I don't know why. These machines today like Ed's Jaguar have auto fill / dump. Why not just bring in the extractor with maybe 30 feet of hose, plug it in and go to work. You can even run the auto fill from the customers hose bib and have another hose going back outside to dump so that you dont have to hook up to the toilet and sink. The way I see it we have all gotten a little hung up on the idea of turning portables into truck-mounts when in reality it's just not necessary. And since Ed's Jag is under 100 pounds it's not even hard to bring inside like some others. I just don't get it.
