Matt Ive been thinking about your post since yesterday, Im kinda stumped,
I guess its the Aroma thing, I dont recall in running into it I guess, If its like those OIL lamps we had in the 70's
Kinda looks like its raining in a lamp, and there is a ton of it in one location good luck in removing all of it, I had one where the lamp had broke and spilled all over the carpet
There is just no way It was all comming out, and the backing was starting to seperate because of it, I wouldnt make any promises on this it may look good when your done, But it can wick after you leave,
If the oil is a small amount and in the face fibers of the carpet, any number of products will remove it, I was thinking about a citrus gell product off hand, The gell sits on top of the carpet and wont get into the backing,
Its one of those deals you might want to go and look at before you start, If you can take some pics others might be able to give more input,
