My hat goes off to Jan Sullins for his truthful comments. There's an old saying: "Buyer Beware", and that is going to become even more true now. Just last week I received a call from a company who is marketing vacuum motors (components made in China), and who are selling vacuum motors to many HWE companies who market on price, that cost 2/3 less than the American ones (which we install in our machines) that have long been proven over the years and have held up to all kinds of abuse. We have tried them all. But, I'll tell you, after having been doing this for near 34 years now, we did some field testing on several motors made in China (for this industry) and they proved to all be junk. We replaced them with the good old American made motors instead. I can understand that it is hard for some not to be greedy and purchase on price. However, our committment to this Industry has always to be a Leader, and not a follower. And, that also goes for building quality equipment that holds up rather than falls apart. No, we will never do our field testing on the unsuspecting Operator. Now, as far as the competition goes, I can see that the difference(s)are now becoming even Greater between ours and theirs! Now, there is alot more to say on this particular subject however I will leave it at that for right now. Thanks again to all; Ed Valentine
