"Also i dont pre-spray the fringe. lay it on a canvas cover or towel or whatever you have then with a horse hair brush blot the cleaning agent into the fringes the bristles will drive the cleaning agent all the way through the fringe" gman, I saw a video on youtube doing this on wool rug at a washing plant.
