I forgot about the 2HP. Come to think of I had a Recoil 2 and sold a 2HP. Of course later I sold the 2 and bought a 3HP which was a big upgrade in my opinion! Ask to to turn on all switches. First one at a time ,listening for(Lamb Vacs )if they sound high pitched. Or if there is a lot of sparking in the motors. Check the pump make sure it is working properly. Both pumps are excellent. If it hasn't been used very much and has not been run dry then you could get a lot of hours out of either pump. As far as the vac motors. Both are identical and again if it has not been used much then you could get several hundred hours more. But if you are hearing noises that don't sound right then figure on purchacing 2 Lamb 3 Stages. Jan
