I was just thinking about our "aging industry" and how some of us cope with natural changes that occur around us. Some can easily adapt while others may just sit and grumble.
As I get older, I have a tendency to dwell on thoughts and actions, which my family finds humorous. I, however, find it amazing when I ponder on the changes I have observed throughout my lifetime.
As I have seen advertised, The little blue pill (Valium) used to be for anxiety; now, the little blue pill (Viagra) is used for a different type of anxiety.
Bailouts used to be from an airplane, not from the Government. To my dismay, as I get older, my satellite radio keeps on adding new decades of oldies channels. The word, "geek" used to be a negative term; now geek is chic. And, lastly I remember when blackberries were fruits.
However, keeping a sense of humor about transitioning from the past to the present will help us all cope with the enormous changes that we all face each and everyday.
