I get what you are saying Rickie, My area is way different then yours. I would not hire anyone to train and pay top dollar to train them. We start people off at $10.00 and go up depending on experience and performance. Your so called competitors are lucky you hire them, I will not, tried that once, there is a reason they are looking for work. Thankfully when we get called it is not bid situation usually.Most times we are referred in or they are sick of hacks messing up the flooring and are willing to pay my price to get the job done correctly, and implement a program to keep the floors always looking good. I hate one time hits and will charge way more for them.
