I do 150 without my booster; but when I wanna hurry up my production I use the booster at that length. I would personally stay with cfm for longer hose runs; use lift for basement extraction. However if you wanna double your power add booster 50 feet from machine and a booster 50 feet from the wand!! My Machine pushes 400 cfm now. Wanna add a lot of lift connect lift hoses last 50 feet to join the boosters.
