I just wouldn't feel right going truckmount without auxillary tanks. Afterall that is what they are for.. One thing I appreciate about using the tanks is that you will not get as much moisture in your vacuum motors as you do when going portable. The Recoil 3 has so much cfm which causes quite a bit of turbulence in the waste tank. Therefore you don't want to get it over about 2/3 full before you dump. That is not a hard fast rule but I believe if one does it that way they will get a lot more life out of their vac motors. It is kind of a sickening feeling watching water gushing out the exhausts of you vacuum motors! jmho Jan
