My first carpet I did with a 175rpm Hild Mach. with tank to a shower feed brush.Then wold rinse carpet with a 15 gal. SS wet dry tank but we would hook up a hose to cust. faucet to drag wand 5 jets and rinse carpet out.Recovery was the pits ,carpet stayed wet for days, but it was clean. Oh how things have changed.
