I have read that text before. It is an incoherent rant. That it was allowed at a website supposedly defending the science of biology tells us something about the standards of the owner of the website. This is the website that advertised Darwin Day by announcing that Darwin was the genius who "discovered how life BEGAN on Earth" (my emphasis). He did no such thing. It took the owner four months to remove that particular falsehood, such is the concern for truth here.
The belief that the Earth is very young, perhaps only 6,000 years old, is plainly false. There is no need to play psychiatrist at the expense of people who believe such things. There are billions of people on this planet who have, at times, false beliefs in their heads. By false beliefs I mean anything ranging from fallacious reasoning to the positive illusions that many seem to need as they travel through life. We are a fallible species strongly inclined to fantasy. Evolutionists are no more exempt from that weakness than "creationists". Any one who wants fine specimens of evo-bunkum should look at the examples debunked by the philosopher Budziszewski in his "The Line Through the Heart" and by Stove in his "Darwinian Fairy Tales". Evolutionists, atheists and secularists are not immune to the charges of foolishness and delusion. And science is not immune to the corrupting influences of secular, liberal mythology.
