I think instead there are two or three kinds of personality types, based on their behavior on insisting literalism: most of the creationists have some kind of trouble accepting similes and symbolic meanings, implying language disabilities and/or Asperger syndrom. Another kind of common personality type in those groups is various kinds of narcissistic personalities with mythomanic tendencies, evoking and living in dream-worlds to such a degree that they believe those fantasies to be truth. Some of the more destructive narcissistists take over the thinking of others and direct it to the fulfillment of their own fantasies of their own prophetic role.
