Oh! Those maps aren't very accurate! They have London, Ontario, as a zone 6b... That's crazy, the average low in London is -25C! Kingston (Airport) has an average winter minimum of -26.7C, which puts it in zone 5a...
Joe- I do still have the NS map that I made and Sable I. is a zone 8a, with the next best climates being in the Southwest of the province (borderline 7b).
