Those island spots would make for a great testing place for Trachycarpus. I'm not aware of any established palms....anywhere in our area. Bill in Attleboro, MA will have to keep us posted on his monster palms.

I have 1 T. takil which I seed grow from RPS in 2000 or 2001. It was still green in spring....I was surprised...it had a greenhouse over it with some xmas lights inside.
