The ones in that photo are Musa Basjoo and Ensete. Surprisingly they both seem to be damaged to the same degree at this point. I haven't cut them back yet because they are still in relatively good shape. I may try to winter the ensete outside with protection. I have had the Basjoo for over 8 years outside.
