Robusta progress over 4 years in PA

2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 It's hard to see the trunk because I like to leave as many leaves on as possible to help with growth rate. In the next few weeks I'll be trimming all but about 6 to get ready for winter protection. I'll post pics again to show how much trunk it has grown. My goal on this baby is from 6-10' of clear trunk. That's when I'll be happy and it will look more like a "real" palm tree! At some point shortly after that I'll have to consider alternative protection or starting over.
