That is some great protection for your plants. What zone are you in??? Im in zone 3 and my banana plant turned to mush after a -7c event. I tried to take the mush off and put a huge cover of straw over it and then a plastic mat to keep the moisture off. Do you think I hava a chance of it coming back from the roots. Im also overwintering a bamboo outside. I think there suppossedly hasrdy to -34c. Do you have any tips?
