A small selection of some of the better looking plants in my xeric/cactus garden.
Newly added Agave montana "Baccarat"
neomexicana
Yucca rostrata "Sapphire Skies" which is funny because it's supposed to be selected out of like 20 billion specimens to be the bluest of rostratas, but just look at the next one which is a run of the mill rostrata:
Don't know how apparent it is on the net, but this "normal" one is much bluer than "Sapphire Skies"
Yucca schottii showing its minimal winter damage:
I've killed quite a few Joshua Trees, but this one keeps on going:
recurvifolia as show in previous post:
Hens and chicks blooming:
young Cholla
Yucca baccata
Yucca grown from seed supposedly rostrata!!!! Looks like a slight varient of baccata to me:
Echinocereus reichenbachii baileyi
One of my favorite opuntias - a blue crawler. Can't wait for this one to get some size:
"Purple Desert"
One of the few remaining Agave utahensis I forget which variety, but can find out if somebody wants to know:
Horse crippler:
OK, not in the desert garden, but here's some hardy hibiscus:
Sex aftermath (with obvious multiple partners)
