I never overwinter my gunnera plant . It's a gift from a friend that living in Vancouver . He gave me a small piece of his gunnera plant last fall with only a little leave on it . I planted it in a pot inside and always take care that the soil stay moist . In spring , I already had 3 leaves . I transfert it in a bigger pot for summer and "BOOM" the leaves start to grow on a giant size ! I was supposed to transfer it in the ground but I had no place . I will put it back in the house next fall.....if I can pass my door with it !
