Sorry to say that I am ery ignorant about EEs. This is only my second season growing them. I started some last year, they did well and I dug them in the fall.Planted them this spring and they languished because of the rainy June. They are growing fast now, but I found two springing up in my grass about 8 feet from the planted ones. Seed? Runners? I dug one from the grass and it is surely an elephant ear.
