You have a beautiful place there Bill . Now I will not feel too bad having to protect the few things I have .
How tall are those washies and where in FL did you get them ?
How are you going to protect the serenoa ? I had one planted last year that defoliated , I dug it probably a bit prematurely as there seemed to be some life left in the trunk .
Are the windmills a standard T. Fortunei or something else . I think the nainital/takil variety grow a good bit faster .
