Ok good clarification.
I'm at 45 N, but palms still require full sun here since growth is completely shut down for 3-4 months during the winter, and we don't get that 'warm' compared with other areas in the east!
I still maintain that I live in a colder zone! Though maybe one better suited to growing tropical annuals.
