I consider myself to be in a colder zone and Needle palms flower here. I bet I'm at the northern most limit where they are growing, 48 degrees north Lat. I have a couple of them in my garden. There is one growing in town and the first time I saw it bloom was 6 or 7 years ago. Cheers, Joe
