Hi Phil. I got it from Nettle Creek some years ago. It originated as a cutting from theirs which if I recall the story was brought up by them from Fla some decades ago. Now I think this tree is protected and consequently harder to find. I have no idea how frequently they are able to sell rooted cuttings but probably worth asking.
I also tried another big leaf Magnolia seedling from Tony at Broadway but managed to kill it. I think Mike has a large tree but no clue of his source. I'd plant more if I could find them!
