Sounds like a great palm. If I lived closer I would get it for sure. It would take me at least a week to drive from where I live to where you are. We grow Chamaerops outdoors year round here without protection. They are fool proof just like T.fortunei. I have many in my garden. Hope it goes to a good home. Cheers, Joe
