I was looking around YouTube and ran across a video from 2005 in which Bob Moore, the legendary bassist who played on many of Jim's records was being interviewed about Jim Reeves. The title of the video is "Bob Moore talks about Jim Reeves". I had never seen this video before, and maybe you haven't either, so I would recommend that Jim's fans watch it. Thanks.

Great video, Gary! I have never seen this before either. Bob had only nice things to say about Jim, which I was happy to hear. I never knew that Stevie Moore, who sings duet with Jim on "But You Love Me, Daddy" was Bob's son either. Always good to still learn some new things about Jim and his recordings. Thanks again, Gary, for telling us about this video...

You are welcome Mike. I think anyone who is a big enough fan of Jim's to visit this website would like to see that interview. I've always wanted to hear what the studio musicians thought of Jim and working with him. Some of that is covered in Larry's book, but its also nice to see it on video. I didn't think the interviewer did a really good job of asking questions, but at least he got the interview on tape. I appreciate that.
By the way, Bob Moore recently died. I didn't know that when I posted the info about the interview, but I wanted to mention it. I've always admired all of the musicians that recorded with Jim, including the "A-Team", the string players, and the Anita Kerr Singers. They all helped to make Jim's sound great.
