Jim Mentioned On "Late Show" Posted by Greg Bates on November 7, 2009, 3:07 am 205.188.117.66 I was flipping through the tv channels late Friday evening and just happened to catch an interview by David Letterman with award winning big-time actor/writer/comedian Ricky Gervais. Ricky mentioned that his (late) mother was a big Jim Reeves fan. Always good to hear Jim's name on any show these days......  Post a Response

Re: Jim Mentioned On "Late Show" Posted by Paul on November 8, 2009, 7:35 am, in reply to "Re: Jim Mentioned On "Late Show"" 69.159.16.109 Our friends in the U.K. can confirm or deny this but I believe that as of June this year the Thomson Travel group was still using Jim's "Welcome to My World" as a voice over in their travel commercials (see You tube ), and if I am not mistaken they have won some type of award for these commercials.This explains in large part the marketing of the CDs by H and H in Europe and their success to date I would think.
