I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed listening to the new VM track you have posted. The song "How many" has long been one of my favourite songs from Jim's Abbot recordings, but this version surpasses it by far. His voice sounds so rich and warm, and his delivery more relaxed and intimate. The new musical arrangement is just perfect, and the overall production on what must be a very old recording, is a testament to the care that is being taken by those involved in enhancing these wonderful gems.
I have played the clip from my computer through good speakers, and the sound is gorgeous. I don't know how to download the mpeg3 from the site, but to be honest, I would much rather purchase a full fidelity version should it be released on a forthcoming VM CD. Am I right in guessing/hoping that this is something we can look forward to sometime in the coming months?
Finally, I would like to say that if any of the people who visit this site haven't at least purchased a couple of the Voice masters CDs, they are missing out on something that BMG or Sony could never provide, as these companies frankly don't care. But only by supporting the efforts of Voice masters can we hope to enjoy further releases of new material.
