Hi Denise! Glad to hear you ordered the CD! I'm sure you will enjoy it! I enjoyed everything you wrote, especially the little story about Minnie Pearl...you're very lucky to have met her! Yes, Jim and Minnie knew each other well and were both members of the Grand Ole Opry. They also played at an all-star country concert at Carnegie Hall, along with Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Faron Young and Grandpa Jones back in 1961. My Mother and older brother went to the show, but I was only about 9 years old at the time and wasn't old enough to appreciate Jim's music yet. I never did get to go to the museum, but I called the gift shop there a few times to order some of Jim's LP's, and Mary actually answered the phone! I was so lucky to get to talk to her those few times! I've seen pictures on the internet of both Mary's and Dean's gravesites, but have never been to either in person. I'm not familiar with the name Tucker that you mentioned, but yes, Doris does post comments on the forum here now and then. I can't remember exactly where she lives, but if you ask her on the forum, I'm sure she'll answer you. I've e-mailed her quite a few times, and she is a very nice person.
