Jimmy, You are 40% correct so far, three songs to go for the complete answer, details will be provided at the end of question solution. Anymore guesses out there for the other 3 songs and Part II of the question? I will give hints late this week if no response is given. Regards, Don --Previous Message-- : Hey Don, : : Well, I can name at least two of those songs : Jim recorded that May.....Angels Don't Lie : and I Won't Come In While He's There. I : used to know all of Jim's recordings for : these two sessions, but I guess as time : passes each year I have forgotten the rest : of the songs. Angels Don't Lie is one of my : very songs that Jim recorded also : : --Previous Message-- : To All, : Hope everyone had a great Sunday. Jim : had a great May 18th in 1964 and I believe I : have posted about this before but it was his : next to last recording session and his most : successful as all 5 songs were hits, 3 were : #1s one reached #4 (on the Billboard Top : Country Singles Chart) and one reached #5 if : my memory serves me right on the Record : Retailer/Music Week Chart in the UK. Now is : the time for all all to scratch their heads : and answer/wonder what all those songs were : for the first part of the question. Part II: : Only one record involving the five hits was : released before Jim's crash, and that would : be part II of the question what was it and : what were the songs on it? : : Regards, : Don : : :
