Out Where the Bright Lights Are Glowing Posted by Tom Croteau on April 18, 2008, 6:27 pm 68.97.5.25 I hate to be such a bother, but I also have tried to locate the 1981 tribute album by Ronnie Milsap to Jim on CD...an suggestions? Also, a long time ago, I had a 3-cassette set called "The Jim Reeves Story", Eddy Arnold was the host (it was all audio, obviously), and it featured a lot of spoken word by Jim as well as many top artist of the time. This was a radio special from the 1980s...anyone know if there are any copies out there?  Post a Response

I would be more than happy to make you a copy of the disc. The tapes were purchased as a gift for me from the "Jim Reeves" Museum Nashville many years ago by my brother, I have since been to the museum and alas! found it closed and derelict!! "a great pity", the end of an erra I suppose! My brother met Mary reeves the day he bought the tapes and often speaks of what a wonderful lady she was, and she posed along with Kenneth for a photograph of which he is very proud. Sincerely.
