Thanks for your replies, Doris and Don. I've also heard Jim do snippets of Tennessee Waltz and I Really Don't Want To Know. During this performance he commented that they were songs he wished he had recorded (or something to that effect). I also have a great recording of him performing The Kentucky Waltz on a radio show, and a Grand Ole Opry recording of Peace In The Valley, Softly And Tenderly and Old Time Religion. Then there is the Gannaway video of Jim singing Down In The Caribbean on the Opry. I was not thinking so much of Jim doing covers of songs made popular by his contemporaries, but more along the lines of him performing some of the great old standards in Country, Popular or Gospel music.
