Jim's first LP, "Jim Reeves Sings" Posted by AllenC (Alan C) on September 24, 2007, 2:34 am 64.12.116.204 Didn't Jim release an album prior to signing with RCA for the Fabor/Abbott label titled, Jim Reeves Sings"? If I am not mistaken, "Singing Down The Lane" was his first RCA LP...correct me if i am wrong..  Post a Response

I am lucky enough to have it and Jim signed it. I remember him saying "I don't have one of these- I might pay you good money someday for it". I would have donated it to Mary for the museum but did notice that she had just a cover on the wall so didn't give it to her. I'm glad now I didn't- who knows where it would have ended up?
