Readers Digest 6 LP box set Posted by Dirk Joubert on September 16, 2007, 2:26 pm 198.54.202.195 I recently got hold of the Readers Digest 6 LP box set with Jim in his red tux on the front of the box. The set is in perfect condition and it looks like the records has never even been played. Can anyone tell me when this set was released?  Post a Response

One box is USA produced and the other from South Africa. Like yours, I know mine are unplayed.  Post a Response

Re: Readers Digest 6 LP box set Posted by Don Streeter on September 17, 2007, 12:10 am, in reply to "Re: Readers Digest 6 LP box set" 68.254.30.201 To All, Just a quick note, this 6 LP/3 CD/Cassette Set of Jim's is one of the big ones sales wise, as an RIAA Platinum Award is hanging on the wall in the CMA Hall of Fame for this one with a Platinum Disc and a picture of the cover with Jim in his red tux in front of the motel that someone mentioned earlier this year (I can't remember the name) that is still in Nashville, but not in the greatest part of town. A great set indeed, I have both LPs and CDs and got a bonus LP Seasons Greetings from Jim Reeves which is a Reader's Digest reissue of the 12 Songs of Christmas sans Senor Santa Claus which is not on the record with the LP version of The Unforgettable Jim Reeves.
