My friend Maggie Posted by Joyce Jackson on September 9, 2007, 7:33 pm 207.200.116.6 Well, a week has come and gone and today I took Maggie Buck back to the airport and I'm sure that by now she is back in Toronto, We had a wonderful time together and of course one of our main topics was Jim and Mary. I have been so blessed to have met so many wonderful fans both in person and on this forum because of Jim and his never outdated music and I thank you Julie and Larry for having this site so that I can have the opportunity to make and see these wonderful folks. Maggie was a delight to have as a guest in my home. We rode the Cog Train to the top of Pike's Peak and visited The Garden Of The Gods and took a trip to Canon City and visited The Royal Gorge. She loved it all...While in Canon City, we had the wonderful pleasure of meeting and having coffee with another great fan of Jim's that also posts on this forum. Bev...I know all of you have seen her posts. We also had a good visit and of course there again our topic was both Jim and Mary. Maybe one day I'll met more of you. Hope so. This was just wonderful!! Always for you Jim Joyce PS: We got to wondering just what Jim would think about us getting together like we have. I know it would please him tremendously!!  Post a Response

We did all kinds of good stuff and spent many hours talking about Jim and Mary. It was also great to meet Bev Neuben, who posts here quite often. We spent a couple of hours together, having breakfast and chatting. Of course, all good things come to an end and I am now back at the office - however, we've already begun planning our next visit together. Always for Jim. Maggie  Post a Response

We had a lot of laughs, and I enjoyed a lot of first hand stories Joyce shared about Jim. What wonderful memories she must have of her time working for him.
