I don't listen to the radio much these days, but today I was going to meet some friends to play golf in a nearby town and I had the radio tuned to a station in that town that plays mostly older music. I happened to hear a tune entitled "PS, I Love You", by Tom T. Hall. I thought it was a very nice song and I liked Tom T's version of it. I thought, that would have been a great song for Jim to have sung. When I got home I did some research and learned the song was written or published in 1934. I expect Jim heard the song when he was alive, but I don't know if he ever considered recording it. Many artists have recorded the song, such as Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Bobby Vinton, and Mel Torme. If anyone is interested, you can hear Tom T. Hall's version, and other versions on YouTube.
